@hlbkv gnome software can handle debs and flatpaks (and on Ubuntu also snaps I think). The app itself is a deb, so it is not surprising that it can be installed. The apps that end up being able to be installed with it are probably also debs.

Just an update, I gave up on trying the KDEConnect workaround. I did some deep investigation on resolving the issue within Waydroid itself, and documented my progress. It's definitely a feature-request in Waydroid. https://github.com/waydroid/waydroid/issues/211 I haven't done any more work on it for a while, since my last post on github. There are a few libs being used in Waydroid, which I linked to, which have sparse documentation. I don't have deep enough knowledge of these languages and platforms to be able to fix this easily - not to mention android's workflow for builds. Wasn't able to do a build of LineageOS on my PC; some incompatibility with package versions. It'd be nice to resolve this for everybody who uses Waydroid, but IRL is taking priority for now.

There is a quite lengthy topic about Anbox on UT: https://forums.ubports.com/post/12443 And if you search for "anbox" in topic titles you'll find a few more with focus on specific aspects of anbox.

@MarkG_108 Hi, I'm glad you found how to build your apps. The difference between "old" and "new" projects lies probably in clickable configuration. For this I am a mere user. And regarding the "desktop" mode, I never used it. Congratulation with setting up atom with clickable. Good luck now learning about clickable.

@14v3nd3r I have an opo myself. I use the installer to reflash when I screwed up. My main problem was getting the right usb driver installed. I think what the installer does is first install a new recovery (the UBports one) with fastboot and then with this new recovery install UBports itself. Therefor it uses the fastboot and adb utilities it also installs (I gave you the path for windows).

@Ingo Thanks for those details. Whenever I run the command adb install-multiple -p spotify* on my device I get: Failed to create session Error: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Missing inherit package name However, when I did just adb install-multiple spotify*, that seemed to work successfully. I restarted the UT device and it all seems to work! Thanks a bunch for the assistance everyone!

@prog-amateur said in VLC under Libertine question: Hello, I have installed VLC in a Libertine container. As it has been said, it is very difficult to click on buttons as the icons and characters are very small. I have an idea : why do not install a skin ? VLC has many skins, including "ftouch 1.00" or "WMP11_B -" which have large buttons, easier to use in touchscreen. I have downloaded them, but VLC asks for a path to pick them up, so please, do you know where to put my skins files ? Thank you very much. For information : my VLC Libertine path is : .local > share > libertine-container > user-data > xenial > .local > share > vlc Looking here https://www.videolan.org/vlc/skins.php I guess you have to add a skins2 folder at the end. Just keep in mind there is no hw acceleration for video playback via libertine, so the usefulness will be still very limited

@lool_lauris You can try framacalc, it's a bit restrictive, but can be compatible with simple formulas.

@MarkG_108 The feature is available, but each app is responsible to declare and to handle how the files can be openned. So I think MorphBrowser in this case doesn't tell the system that he can read HTM/HTML/... files. I don't know if there is an issue open for that but if you want it, you can check existing issues for MorphBrowser and if this one doesn't exist open a new one.

@hackersnu Factory reset run installer with wipe. Reflash best android for Nexus5 then try again. I'm guessing no partion changes or encryption at anytime. Will have a think and get back later today.
