@BarrickBeau I do not know much about Libertine, but libqt5gui5t64 is mentioned in a recent merge request, so this will maybe be fixed with: https://gitlab.com/ubports/development/core/libertine/-/merge_requests/147 So as an end user, you will probably have to wait for the next system update.

A puzzling issue is that when I see the prompt 'waydroid is stopped' in the UT command line, Waydroid is actually running, and operations within its system GUI appear to be functioning normally.

@domubpkm I tried the same - a webapp from the mail provider - but that wasn't convenient at all. No more than an emergency solution for me. Dekko might be in beta for a long time, but for me it's more than okay. A few things are not working, but I never intended to do all my mailing via phone. So I'm fine with it.

@messayisto I'm not an Axolotl developer, but I do believe the answer is yes. The developers are working hard to overcome the latest changes in Signal, and it's not an easy task, but the goal is a fully functional version of Axolotl to be made available through the Open Store.

@dobey @AppLee I figured. Unfortunately as a person who loves my Bacon as a daily driver it's my biggest obstacle to full convergence (as ridiculous as it sounds, the only reason I'm even using my desktop computer now ia (a) a lack of the peripherals for this device-- which I'm changing God willing this week and (b) video calling (sone people just prefer it despite my best efforts to get them to just call me on the phone.) It's a minor hassle, but between that and getting VoLTE, I'll take seeing VoLTE as priority. Oh well. :beaming_face_with_smiling_eyes:

@AppLee Unfortunately I am nothing but a somewhat experienced user of ubutouch only... a noob in programming... I thought to something like the RNDIS interface in ADB setup, but for GPS. Transmitting my phone's GPS stream to my laptop, which doesn't have a GPS receiver. I would enjoy very much having a bash script to run my Linux-Navit installation on laptop by means of my phone's GPS...

@keneda said in Old .click: Now we'll wait for this to be implemented in app ^^ Personally, the access of an old .click through the website is a step forward that is more than enough for me: an old .click has (normally) not to be installed in a definitive way, but only to solve a punctual click problem. And I imagine that implementing this function in the Openstore app would be much more complicated and superfluous at this time when developer problems must be raining down from all sides (only a personal hunch).

@nocturn-adrift you can leave the defaults and it should work without issue. The proxy isn't nessary unless you have specific network restrictions you need to worry about. You can generally leave that blank. The SSL flag should be enabled, it ensures the connection between pantalaimon and matrix.org remains secure. Generally there should be no reason to turn that off and I'll probably remove the switch with my next update.

Well, it depends on your requirements. I have it installed since yesterday and did quite some bit of testing or trying to get things work. In my eyes, it is not yet sufficient as daily driver because of a couple of issues: (1) Most Android-apps won't work in Anbox. I tried a couple and none of them was working (e.g., FairEmail, my banking app, my app for rent a bicycle, etc.). Anbox is in heavy development so I expect those things to improve over time. (2) If you require access to e-mails on Office365 (a lot of companies use that), then it is at least a bit rough around the edges (you need Dekko2 as the standard-mail-client plus the Outlook-WebApp). Dekko2 doesn't support OAuth yet. Technically, most things work fine, but I have to say I don't use mobile data so regard that as untested.

@marc123454321 I wrote a script that makes open VPN connections for PrivateInternetAccess.com and developed and tested it on a Nexus 4. It works well. I see you are using a different VPN provider so I don't think it will work. If anyone needs such a script for their UT device, let me know and I can post it.

@mark1250 Sending message with google messaging app in RCS mode should not be a problem, normally, it should convert to SMS or MMS if contact doesn't have RCS on his phone/carrier. But this is what should happens, and sometime with this kind of things it's not what really happens ^^

Marking this as solved. I got confused over the instructions here. [image: 1623961349486-screenshot_2021-06-17_16-14-09.png] I had somehow forgotten a "shell" is just a terminal window. Instruction #1 is superfluous! You can just type in the command in #2 in your phone's terminal window and install it! EDIT: MAKE SURE TO RUN IT WITH SUDO or it will ask you for another prompt and could crash!
