maybe the MIUI version I flashed might have impacted Waydroid's reliability or other things?
Yes — this can significantly affect UT.
The MIUI image version to use is specified in the installation guide under "2. Check the correct version of MIUI", and it looks like you used the correct one.
I can't explain the unusual bugs you've reported.
Did you remount the system as read-write and make any changes?
Did you use apt (update/upgrade/install)?
I'm fine with starting a new discussion thread.
I to have always found turning the hotspot on for my OPO a pain. Most of the time it can take up to 7 plus attempts from the settings. I hardly ever can get it to activate via the notifications bar. With the latest releases it dors seem to be getting better but still not perfect by a long shot.
@locamama Copy paste does work for me but can be tricky I must admit. I also have libreoffice installed in libertine via system settings Libertine setup. If I remember correctly I might have added suite to the end don't forget to restart after installing and refreshing X apps scope.
Anbox is tricky and not recommended for daily driver. There is a specific section on through forum for that will add link later as on mobile now. Last one never tried will have a go though.
@dtarrant hi, another user is commenting that the forked Recorder app is not working in his N4 either (I've pinged him).
Fwiw it's working fine in my N5 and in my BQ E4.5
I deleted the container, and started again, and I'm pleased to report that musescore downloaded! Thanks for your support, @haveaniceday - it is really appreciated

You can optionally add aliases to the commands you install in the container in your ~/.bash_aliases file:
alias git='libertine-launch -i xenial git
alias screenfetch='libertine-launch -i xenial screenfetch

@mawil1013 hi, I've never heard anyone with that kind of battery issue. Can you try to leave the phone until its battery is "empty" and then, with the phone turned off, do a full charge? Maybe that will re-calibrate the battery.
Quick update and resolution! The new slimport cable came yesterday, and all trace of errors regarding a connection to my monitors is gone!
I'm typing this post up now on a converged Nexus 5 with a wireless keyboard and mouse. Great stuff! Don't use crappy knockoff cables for video out!
If your are streaming from a cell phone to a big screen, don't forget the quality you receive, to your cellphone is a reduced quality to save data. whis may give a bad result.
There must be someone with knowledge of this kind of thing could let us know what happens here
The phone boot when it's plugged to the usb charger. The thing is that when the phone is booted i almost never shut it down, however unlock the lockscreen is inconvenient and plug it the the charger work but it's not a solution
Did anybody manage to make any progress on this issue? I also have no hotspot option in system settings on my Nexus 4, now running 16.04 OTA-5. No amount of toggling the flight mode switch makes any difference.
