    I found a "workaround" for now:

    You can get "somewhat" around the sending issue. Type enough so the "Expand Text Box Arrow" is usable (or move you finger around the text box a little (up works very often), for some reason the arrow shows up then too), press it and now you can press the blue send button to the right. It is far FAR from working / good but it works for now. That also allows selecting and then "overwriting" the current text. That can be considered as a "backspace" workaround.

    ALSO: Signal-Desktop uses more battery then it should. It uses a far less if you close it and reopen it and don't open any chats. IDK. why.

    Getting Waydroid apps to work more like regular UT apps is still a work-in-progress. For now you probably have to use the work-around you discovered.

    @stefwe Thank you. It's a good idea to take the automatic deleting by GMX. I will test it. But manually it's not possible, isn't it?

    Ah, I see. That worked for me, thanks! You have to keep the exact same naming convention as the file you replace. See what you mean by the file names being messed up now, but it's definitely a step forward. Thanks for the tip! Now if only Bluetooth could get sorted out...

    @htc_tattoo On FP2 webbrowser still leads to system crash (less with firmware updated, but nonetheless)

    @micnd90 I had the exact same behaviour on a (very) old sony xperia sp; it's called a "battery drop" - are you positive it came with UT ? I experienced this on android myself

    If I rotate the phone to landscape leftwise or rightwise -- both come out fine. However, it's only the rightwise rotated landscape video that was upsidedown when re-encoded from .mp4 to .mkv. 💡

    "sudo anbox-tool disable
    sudo mount -o rw,remount /"

    like in the script?(and reverse afterwards)

    I never got opengapps to work but I think to edit the system I ended up copying the android.img to another directory, running unsquashfs on it, modifying it, resquashing it (mksquashfs) and then overwrite the original image.

    I recently acquired a OPO, it came with lineage on it, I did not check the version. i turned it on, went through lineage initial setup so that i could enable developer mode in settings, then proceeded to install UT edge channel using the windows installer without any problems. Its not my daily phone, but i turn it on every once in a while to test some things out and it works great.

    If you want to run arbitrary python CLI tools, it's best to do so using a Libertine container.

    See Shell Access in documentation for more info. You should use the libertine-launch form to get a shell as phablet user for normal use, and use libertine-container-manager to install packages, as sudo will not work or be usable (and installing it can break things).

    @moid If it still doesn't start correctly after you have switched it off completely and restarted it, rerun the installer (without wipe/or backup everything if you want to keep your stuff). That should do it.

    @errorcodevortex You are obviously not reading or taking in what people have as far as I can see very politely said or pointed out to you over the last few days. Nor the fact that that this type of behaviour would not be tolerated and the consequence of so doing. I am sorry but I will be locking this thread .

    @nixer FYI if someone wants to figure out the bug, It was like they were hidden but inside before, if i manually added a contact their google contact photos showed up on the contact.

    I found and tested that : a workaround to read a file on RC chanel is to make a copy of the file with File Manager, to paste the file into UT media and then proceed as usual and the file is read.
