@hlbkv gnome software can handle debs and flatpaks (and on Ubuntu also snaps I think). The app itself is a deb, so it is not surprising that it can be installed. The apps that end up being able to be installed with it are probably also debs.

@bamboy360 said in Elevate Push Notifications from WayDroid to UT?: Someone there mentioned using KDEConnect as a workaround. I might look into that next. I suspect this was aimed primarily at desktop Linux, although any mobile Linux where KDE/GConnect shows notifications would work as well. Unfortunately, at the moment UT is not one of those where it would work out of the box. But feel free to experiment, maybe you can make it work.

I presume this is inside libertine, as apt is not supported in the host system. No, it's only a warning, so not a real issue.

Just Try to Install without Wipe, without Partitioning bootstrap and without system partition, when you have razor-lmy48m already running on the Tablet. If you have installed lineage os or latest versions of Android which have changed partitions, it wont work.

No sorry, the problem is not fixed. I dont have this model thats affected, and no other dev was able to get one. So the only way to fix it is the manual repair ATM.

Apparently OnlyOffice works fairly well on small screens. It's webbased, so in theory one could probably make a UT app for it based on their electron(?) based desktop app or alternatively connect to their cloud version with a mobile browser.

@jeff_kotowski It's not really a simple thing to do, and would basically rewriting all of the UI for the system and every app, to be able to support such a thing.

I have had days where it seems to drain quicker but recently it has been very good on my OPO. It's at 75% after 8.5 hrs with a few calls texts and web etc. Completely switching off can help reset things but don't use many other devices these days to comment on those.

I have read that Apple devices are supposed to work nice together, and maybe other devices are not so important. Eventually, I would like to get moved onto an Ubuntu or FreeBSD computer. I've had this iMac since new 2007. Thanks for the reply.

I edited the file that was created specific to the VPN server I was using. After you navigate to the file as described in your post, type at the prompt: sudo nano filename "filename" will be that file name specific to the VPN server that was created. Change my generic "filename" to your specific filename. My VPN uses alot of servers in various places and I have to modify each Terminal file created if I want to use them. After you type that, you will be prompted for your password. I type in the password and press enter. Then I press enter again and the file appears using the editor app "nano". To the left of my Terminal screen near the bottom there are control keys that include an option to use "nano" specific keys. The option menu appears as three rows of horizontal short dashes stacked on each other. Press this, and while holding it down, slide your finger on the screen to select "nano" at the top. This will give you the control keys you can use for nano. I just use the control-x key to save and eventually exit. Follow the directions on the screen after your selections. It was described elsewhere that you cannot use your VPN editor to make changes after you save the Terminal file because it will write over the file and you have to start over. I did the VPN editor setup first, then the Terminal file mod and it has worked fine so far. You can use your finger on the screen to control the cursor. It took a little practice for me to get it right.

The WebRTC test passes (no IP info given out) for certain servers with PIA VPN. There have been no connection issues. I used the VPN Editor app on Open Store and edited the system-connections file in Terminal as described elsewhere. The VPN still will not work with wifi, but I'm happy it works with the cell data part of the phone.

Magically both, the old Canonical tg app and tg-cli, started working again downloading files and photos. Don't know why, but they do work again. Fine.

@nobhobbor they are in the ubports installer, so it should be just as easy or hard to install on the OP3 as the OP1. Though after the install, it is harder to use with the fact that there aren't to many arm64 apps available, there's no openstore, hopefully we'll get it in the not to distant future, but that's not got anything to do with installing the OS, but installing applications on the OS. I'm assuming that's the miscommunication, however if I'm wrong then please correct me!
