I found a "workaround" for now:

You can get "somewhat" around the sending issue. Type enough so the "Expand Text Box Arrow" is usable (or move you finger around the text box a little (up works very often), for some reason the arrow shows up then too), press it and now you can press the blue send button to the right. It is far FAR from working / good but it works for now. That also allows selecting and then "overwriting" the current text. That can be considered as a "backspace" workaround.

ALSO: Signal-Desktop uses more battery then it should. It uses a far less if you close it and reopen it and don't open any chats. IDK. why.

@ds2k5 said in Signal stop working after switch backup Ubuntu and back zu Signal:

How to setup if close the App
that the app will closed that I do not need to do it by hand

Getting Waydroid apps to work more like regular UT apps is still a work-in-progress. For now you probably have to use the work-around you discovered.

@juergen67 Can you try this for me. Run the installer and install the dev channel (without wipe) Then test your phone again. This used to fix the odd issue on nexus 5's. Dev is very stable these days so don't worry to much, and will have had daily builds since OTA-11. If it works great. You can stay on dev for a bit or go back to stable by rerunning the installer and the fix should stay. If you really don't fancy dev just reinstall stable using the installer and see if that does it.
If you still have issues after this lets try something else but really it's probably best to stay on 11 if you can.

Edit: Sorry use system settings to update to dev. System settings, Updates, update settings at the very bottom.
As for usb connection double check dev mode etc is on and just in case keep an eye out for the allow connection box on the phone. None of that should have changed but it won't hurt to check. Then try a few other cables that would be the first place I would try.

@dobey Thank you very much for clarifying this doubt, we have illusions for Ut but we do not know what makes it work, when we have that possibility, would be very good to have that option to put exFAT to Ut,

@mooncosmique , hello! You can use TWRP. If you have it, go to the backup directory and make backup all your system. Backup will be save on phone disk space. If you want make only contacts backup go by the link /home/phablet/.local/share/evolution/addressbook/system/contacts.db
and copy this file to pc.

For cross reference, see one of my old post where there are instruction to generate debug output of online account service :
    https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/account-plugins/+bug/1651938

This three commands in a row, then speed-up to initiate online account creation :

    phablet@ubuntu-phablet:~$ export OAU_LOGGING_LEVEL=2 phablet@ubuntu-phablet:~$ export OAU_DAEMON_TIMEOUT=9999 phablet@ubuntu-phablet:~$ online-accounts-service

  • How to uninstall a Libertine package

It looks like the problem is that some directories are still bind mounted in the container, and aren't being unmounted for some reason. If you reboot into recovery, you can delete the libertine container's root filesystem directory by hand, and nothing will be mounted at that point.

You can also check mount -l | grep libertine to see what is still mounted, and try to forcefully unmount, and then re-run the libertine-container-manager command to destroy the container once no mounts are left for it.

@dobey @Flohack I also downloaded an example OPUS file from here:

    http://samplephotovideo.com/2015/12/download-opus-sample-audio-file-opus/

I can successfully play the file using my clean "install and wipe" installation of OTA-11 rc (OS build number 2019-W41/2) on my OnePlus One.

    Cheers!

There is a new version of the Signal client being developed now that is currently in alpha state - you can help test this by downloading the most recent click package from https://github.com/nanu-c/textsecure-qml/releases/
and sending any bug reports to @nanu-c via Telegram.

@1896er Well done all sorted. Thanks for marking the topic as solved as well. I think we have all had issues with stuff overtime and I certainly have been a newbie with problems that needed sorting (and still do). So don't worry about that and any further questions just ask away I like to think we're a helpful friendly bunch and we all started somewhere.
As for how Libre Office works I really haven't looked into that only installed things to see how setting up a container worked. So over to others with more experience on that one.
