    @freddo I see that files on system-image.ubports.com are stored with digital signatures, so, the situation is better here, but still requires implementing mechanism of choosing mirrors in installer software. I'll take a look at that soon. Thanks

    I tried to enter command in the terminal: sudo snap install libreoffice. It installed. This version of LibreOffice seems to work better than the libertine version I described above. Some dialogs end up partially outside the monitor in desktop mode, but it is indeed usable.

    @Sentinel Hi All, I'm just now running the install from within the waydroid helper app. Back on the stable OS it shows me that the dowload speed is around 200KB/s, the is about 900MB to download. So yes, a verry slow connection for this app... EJ

    Ok, good to know. Thanks for the quick answers. Definitely looking forward to it working again... I guess with the PinePhone also supporting display out, this should see more uptake in the future.

    I think camera app does behave erratically when called to import photos to another app. Could be just broken.

    Just a quick follow up. It seems a lot of the issues may be related to a flaky proximity sensor. I was able to monitor it with a sensor tool I installed from F-Droid. Very intermittent. Tracked the problem down when the phone screen started going to black on the Lineage install after a couple of days. Seems to be a common problem on the Nexus 4 but there is also a chip in the glass right near the sensor, so it may be that as well.

    @normandc Giiba is right your bank website is probably rederecting to another url pattern. In order to check that you can have a look at the log file the error will be displayed. Then you'll have to add another pattern with the webapp creator.

    can we check a couple of things first. Yours is a nexus 5 and not a 5X as we have had that problem in the last few days and the result was the same as yours. The Nexus 5X is not supported. Test adb and fastboot if anything from those at least it's a start and just leave it conected for an hour or so if you haven't already. Also try here our Install group https://t.me/WelcomePlus

    Thanks for your reply, at least that makes two of us trying to use Peertube. Out of a whole community. It's quite unfathomable to me. Anyway, not to sound ungrateful, I've been contributing to open source projects for the last 10+ years (not as dev but mostly documentation with close coordination with devs) so I think I know something about the other side of the fence. I like the UBports project, I want it to succeed, and I'm commited to using UT as my main device OS. Still, I am really confused by what I consider obvious blind spots, such as this one and a few others (the whole Telegram thing). BTW I found a workaround about the full screen issue: in the address bar, change the /watch/ in the url for /embed/.

To add a Google Calendar account using Generic CalDAV perform the following stepssteps: Select Accounts > Add New online Account > Generic CalDAV. On the CalDAV screen: Enter the full email address in the Username fields. Enter the password used to access Google Calendar in the Password field. In the Server Address field, enter https://www.google.com/calendar/dav/<emailaddress>/events where <emailaddress> is the Google email address. Click Save.

    @14v3nd3r No sorry in short it does not work like that. You need to use the installer. The UT recovery is flashed first using fastboot then the device goes to recovery to push the files to the device.

    @Lakotaubp thank you for looking into this - sorry i never got back to you. The youtube app works great at 360p, but trying any higher resolution causes the youtube video to stutter every 10 seconds
