    @hlbkv gnome software can handle debs and flatpaks (and on Ubuntu also snaps I think). The app itself is a deb, so it is not surprising that it can be installed. The apps that end up being able to be installed with it are probably also debs.

I suspect this was aimed primarily at desktop Linux, although any mobile Linux where KDE/GConnect shows notifications would work as well. Unfortunately, at the moment UT is not one of those where it would work out of the box. But feel free to experiment, maybe you can make it work.

    @gleblee you need to patch /etc/apparmor.d/sbin.dhclient as described here https://github.com/ubports/ubuntu-touch/issues/781#issuecomment-423732902 to get it going...

    Yeah, in the end I had to remove modemmanager and just try plugging it in a couple of times. (sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't apparently) Also the tablet didn't boot when the flashing was finished. I had to boot it manually.

    @dobey That does make sense and thanks to put it that way, but I was trying something. That I finally got really close but turn out docker on UT is not happening anytime soon. Your Linux kernel version 3.4.0-cyanogenmod-g2669fa0 is not supported for running docker. Please upgrade your kernel to 3.10.0 or newer.

    Hi @lipkowski-be, Dan Chapman (the maintainer of Dekko) is unavailable due to health issues... ;-( therefor any contribution to Dekko goes here https://gitlab.com/dekkan for now (since we can't merge them to master as long as Dan isn't around). Issues are still tracked in the original repo already posted by @advocatux: https://gitlab.com/dekkoproject/dekko/issues. Also the webpage has gone down recently unfortunately... not sure if we will resurrect it, however we will continue to work on Dekko but progress will be much slower as long as Dan is unavailable. Up next: Dekko using qtwebengine to render mails instead of oxide - stay tuned.

    Hi i have found a workaround that works only for .htaccess Protected pages. Use simply a Favorit in the Format: http://username:password@website.de/url/ the Problem is you can see the credentials in the description of your fav.

    Hi @advocatux , I ran into the same "signature error", attempting to update my Aquaris 10 FHD tablet. As I don't mind breaking the tablet (as opposed to my phone), I just attempted to upgrade using the development channel, which worked (i.e. no signature error), then once that was running switched back to the stable image, and this time no signature error as well. Working nicely now, no problems, some bugs I encountered with 15.04 seem to be fixed with that release. Very happy. Will attempt the same procedure on my phone. Dave

    @peprolinbot Hi thanks for your interest but In case you missed it this threads last post was nearly a year ago. It is best to not reply to such old threads also your last post was nothing to do with the windows version of the installer so I have removed it. Thanks in advance for your understanding.

    @domubpkm you can manage your custom background images going to System Settings > Background > Customized You can have your custom background in the Gallery, or any folder in the "home" directory for that matter.

    @Dave I think most of those issues will have been covered already as the update to 16.04 is nearly a year old now. I would get upto date with everything and check all is ok and go from there. If you are still having issues please come back here for help.

    Unfortunately, it's not possible at the moment. It doesn't support wried solution for external displays. Theoretically, it should support wireless display however the current implementation in UT does not work on this device. I don't want to discourage you but to be honest, I don't think the experience would be good anyway if it does work. bq E5 only has 1GB of RAM which is already a bit struggling in phone mode.

    Did you try to mute and unmute at the beginning of the call? The symptoms that you describe sound quite familiar. There is a bug with the microphone in the phone app which starts it kind of muted. Thus it works but poorly. Then after muting and unmuting the sound is normal. Edit: And of course I have exactly this problem too.
