@arubislander For sure! There is no foolproof solution when running applications that are sensitive to device security outside of their intended environment, especially not in an emulated environment! (Having alternative operating systems and/or backup phones ready to go is always a plus)

@UbiUlbo Sorry, I don't know. I don't use Libertine. I hope someone with knowledge will see this and can help you. Have you searched the .cache directory ?

As stated before, using the Libertine Tweak Tool available from the Open Store, allows you to set gui sizing and large scroll bars for apps in libertine containers, that make them much more usable mobile form factors. Also - installing the Scroll Anywhere extension and setting it for "Grab and Drag" behavior allows scrolling via touch for Firefox. Firefox unfortunately still will be much slower and less responsive than Morph is on UT. Best regards, Steve Berson

@pinetaco Try UT Tweak Tool and use that to check MTP settings and adb while your there(but that should work as you installed UT). Also dev mode is swtched on still. Been along time but I had no issues with N5 and Windows, unless you count cable issues. Should just be a drag and drop or copy paste thing.

Hi, no it's not. At least the checkbox is not checked. And trying that on the phone doesn't work either... But maybe that's a matter of screensize...? Or is there a way to show a checklist properly in the Notes App? Thanks!

@scottbouch For Davical there is no maintenance needed, unless you want some more advanced setup, and it is very reliable, but it isn't very easy to install. There is a package in the default Ubuntu repository, but you'll have to setup manually PostgreSQL and Apache. https://www.davical.org/installation.php

@AppLee It is currently using Qt 5.9. Depending on what one wants to use exactly, it might not be available on UT though.

@Lakotaubp Okay I'm on Ubuntu Mate on a 64 bit machine on live boot . I ran sudo apt update sudo apt-get install android-tools-adb android-tools-fastboot sudo snap install ubports-installer I started ub ports installer and plugged in phone. Then I booted the phone to recovery mode by holding down power button and bottom volume button. Next I ran adb devices Next I chose to select device manually, followed the steps on the installer and let it do its thing. 10 to 15 mins later, the phone rebooted completely with all data still intact. I highly recommend using Ubuntu Mate Liveboot for installations of Ubuntu Touch. It is the only time the installer has worked flawlessly. I also tried several other distros in live boot including regular Ubuntu 18 lts and 20 lts. They did not work when I ran sudo apt-get install android-tools-adb android-tools-fastboot because it said the packages couldn't be found. Ubuntu 18 lts Mate get 10 out of 10 stars in my book as the best installation distro period.

Thank you Stan. In view of my previous problems installing UT I shall live with the problem for now, but if it becomes intolerable I'll follow your suggestion.
