@hlbkv gnome software can handle debs and flatpaks (and on Ubuntu also snaps I think). The app itself is a deb, so it is not surprising that it can be installed. The apps that end up being able to be installed with it are probably also debs.

Just an update, I gave up on trying the KDEConnect workaround. I did some deep investigation on resolving the issue within Waydroid itself, and documented my progress. It's definitely a feature-request in Waydroid. https://github.com/waydroid/waydroid/issues/211 I haven't done any more work on it for a while, since my last post on github. There are a few libs being used in Waydroid, which I linked to, which have sparse documentation. I don't have deep enough knowledge of these languages and platforms to be able to fix this easily - not to mention android's workflow for builds. Wasn't able to do a build of LineageOS on my PC; some incompatibility with package versions. It'd be nice to resolve this for everybody who uses Waydroid, but IRL is taking priority for now.

@doodah Like he said, Libertine isn't fully working yet on the pinephone. You can already create a container but UI programs aren't working since xwayland isn't working yet. Libertine containers can be created in the settings app. It's basically a proot container which is the supported way of installing stuffs via apt.

Is it detected anywhere else? Nexus 5 micro-USB port can be finicky and in my personal experience, it's really hard to have a reliable wired connection with any of my phones so I just gave up and ise wireless connection like SSH as much as possible

What does exacly exec do? I ask, because sh doesn't work for my script like . does. I'm also interested as I want to run VPN on boot and keep it always on. Here are my scrips and other information. Also, what are the nmcli commands that enable cellular data? I tried to find it and I'm run out of ideas.

Ok excellent, glad to know I'm not going crazy. I was having a hard time with this one because I didn't actually know the name for the number pad so I was having a hard time searching. No fixes yet I assume? This is the last thing keeping me from using this phone as a daily driver.

@kristatos . Oki doki, many thanks for your great effort. So I have to take this "personal". Because I tried it again ("*100#") on my VollaPhone/GigaSet GS290 and even waiting (more than 2 minutes) did not help. Processing is hanging at the message box with "Bitte warten" and the spinning circle.

As stated before, using the Libertine Tweak Tool available from the Open Store, allows you to set gui sizing and large scroll bars for apps in libertine containers, that make them much more usable mobile form factors. Also - installing the Scroll Anywhere extension and setting it for "Grab and Drag" behavior allows scrolling via touch for Firefox. Firefox unfortunately still will be much slower and less responsive than Morph is on UT. Best regards, Steve Berson
