    With the Big Tech corporate surveillance state growing and growing, options such as UBPorts Ubuntu Touch are an absolute lifeline for freedom loving individuals all over the world. Big Tech agendas’ thrives because of the vast amount of profit they earn and are able pour back into their future plans while the hero developers from UBPorts and those amazing volunteer developers (such as Pierre Parent! And all the apps he has help bring into the OpenStore!) do so from the goodness in their hearts but of more simpler financial means. It seems like such an unfair fight and uphill battle for immense stakes (freedom and right to privacy). As a simple individual of modest means, who wants to help and contribute to freedom enabling solutions such as UBPorts’ Ubuntu Touch and the volunteer developers, what would you recommend as the best ways to donate personal donations and time to help the cause? To help the amazing hero developers fighting the good fight. We need them. We won’t maintain personal freedom and privacy without them. God bless you all as your efforts are so greatly appreciated, admired and respected! Godspeed.

Below are instructions for installing a single ProtoVPN Wireguard and multiple ProtonVPN Wireguard configurations along with method for mitigating autoconnect conflicts between them. INSTRUCTIONS TO INSTALL PROTON VPN WIREGUARD ON UBUNTU TOUCH 24.04 DOWNLOAD WIREGUARD CONFIG FILES FROM PROTON VPN WEBSITE https://account.protonvpn.com/downloads Give simple name (i.e. wg0, wg5, wg9, etc) to config file Select platform: GNU/Linux Select VPN options: (Block malware, ads & trackers) Select: VPN Accelerator Select either "Standard" or "Secure Core" configs Scroll down to choose and select "Create" Download conf file and make copy with simple name (i.e wg0.conf) WIREGUARD CONFIG INSTALL ON UBUNTU TOUCH 24.04 Manually Toggle WiFi OFF Open Terminal where wg0.conf file is located Execute following terminal commands: A. nmcli connection import type wireguard file wg0.conf B. nmcli connection modify wg0 ipv4.dns "" ipv4.dns-search "" ipv4.dns-priority "" C. nmcli connection modify wg0 ipv4.dns-priority -50 D. nmcli connection down wg0 && nmcli connection up wg0 Manually Toggle WiFi ON Check IP Address: https://protonvpn.com/what-is-my-ip-address MULTIPLE WIREGUARD CONFIG INSTALLS ON UBUNTU TOUCH 24.04 Manually Toggle WiFi OFF Open Terminal where wg0.conf file is located Execute following terminal commands: A1. nmcli connection import type wireguard file /path/to/wg0.conf A2. nmcli connection down wg0 B1. nmcli connection import type wireguard file /path/to/wg1.conf B2. nmcli connection down wg1 C1. ...     Looking into this with a bit more care, the issue seems to be high definition video such as 10-bit H.264, converting to 8-bit seems to allow playback to work. I'm not sure if it's an hardware limitation, because it works on android roms (at least on custom A14).

BUT It is an OS sepcific feature to decide how you are going to display the captive portal. Here I display it using urlDispatcher via DBus that is an UT-specific feature that could hardly be upstreamed. Android has it's own mini-browser designed exclusively to display captive portal. So this is kind of hard to have a generic way to handle captive portals in all OS that embed NetworkManager, independenty of the OS specifics. And all the existing OS (Android, iOS, Windows, MacOS) handle captive portal each, their own way. I don't think in that regard UT should limit itself to what is availiable upstream, i.e keep basic things not working and not implemented, while it requires a 20 line script to have things running fine. If some day NetworkManager improve it's implementation, it will allways be time to use it then.

    @danfro is significative that users only have issues with the app back button, but not with any other ones that are in the same position (menu in TELEports for example). The camera issue that you are could be solved with the proposition I did for the terrible design that is the notch thing. But I can't be sure as I don't know the model. Here also comes handy to be able to use the device upside down like the Poco. Also, let's remember that UT is not thought for mobiles, but for all devices.

    people got to understand AI is only a tool its only gonna be as good as you are ....got to learn to use the tool ....you can have AI create an app but on complex issues and code you must know what your doing to direct AI or your gonna get crap .....AI isnt all its cracked up to be ....its a great tool for what it is but it to can be the cause of you pulling out your hair
