I must admit I feel the same about MC Hammerhead... I have downgraded to a Nexus 4 - much better battery life. The other issue with the 5 that I have had is the on off button failing and that has put the device in a boot loop. The switches are crazy-tiny - and look difficult to replace. Good luck with your battery experiments and please post if you get a good solution.

@wlbi the download link no longer works. Is there another source? Why go back to Android? The bq aquaris m10 fhd can no longer landscape and jitsi can not use the camera.

Same issue. Maybe it was a mistake to say "unpack them"? Could it be that we should just flash the downloaded zip file as is?

@domubpkm Wipe system partition will probably delete all your data. I suggest starting with a reinstall of UT without "wipe" in the Installer.

@cliffcoggin You're welcome. I didn't notice any problem with the sleep mode timing. Perhaps a reboot could fix this?

I am having a problem that looks suspiciously like that of @shabreen ... How do you reboot to recovery? The power button either switches it on or switches it off.... Power button plus volume up sets it in Fastboot mode. Power button plus volume down gives a menu....

@jojumaxx I always say, "when in doubt, assume it needs to be done" if its already unlocked it wont re-lock it, it will just tell you its already unlocked

@thepossessor With PMOS on sdcard and Manjaro on the emmc I tried many times to follow the pine64 hints to flash ANX but got no out put or responses to indicate anything was happening (turns out that's normal) so also followed the prompt to dmesg. And redirect to a file 'cos too difficult/laborious to look at on device. It wasn't working in that set up, so followed another guy's post to use mobian/phosh on on sdcard. No terminal output, but after a while dmesg output showed no errors or comments in the process right up to 'power down' or something. So it looked complete. I don't understand the tech stuff here but my main motivation in this is thinking that it will make usb connection possible to file manager on pc. Anyhow , after that I re-plugged the phone whilst still in mobian and and got connected to pc. Next: Flashed UT to emmc to see if if it would work there also, but no. Flashed mobian to emmc. usb connection to ubuntu on pc straightforward and easy. Just right for me! I'm not sure it was the ANX flashing that did it...but it's the first time after lots of mucking about that I can just connect to pc with usb and copy files , so ...
