@arubislander I thought directly compiling ofono-binder would offer more VoLTE settings options, but it seems I need to change my approach. I'm flashing the system again now, hoping that this time it will resolve the issue of enabling VoLTE for unsupported SIM cards. Thank you.

@Keneda So side-loading the xenial apps did work. They start up fine but I have not had a chance to figure out how to get them to connect to my server running torrent yet. It looks promising though.

@Zardozor25 What happens when you try "fastboot devices"? Also if this is happening on Windows I had the same trouble. I resolved this by using Linux and installing android-tools. Windows absolutely refuses to see my FP5 in fastboot no matter what.

@wolfgang1 Have you checked the Autheticator apps from the OpenStore? Maybe you can migrate to them? But I assume the one you're using is online and synced so probably more complicated. In any case, Waydroid's image is separate from the UT updates. Waydroid has its own updater. If a UT update includes a new version of Waydroid, that would only be the binary and not the Android image that you already initiated and configured. Best practice is to not update both UT and Waydroid while away from a machine that you can use to get back to working state in case something breaks

Once I get my Fairphone back from repair, ill start tinkering around with it. Ill probably also need to get a cheap phone number for testing. I dont see why it shouldnt be possible. Ill have to package Java which sucks but its probably worth it.

@Simmonz Interesting. Have you tried contacting our Volla mates in their forum? There should be a more straightforward way of doing that. One of the benefits of such phones is that, since they have total control of the drivers, one can unlock the bootloader and lock it again after installing UT. Cheers.
