@Alain This featute isn't in UT/Lomiri yet. Simplest way is to make something like a home screen app and there are some that exists already like Launcher Modular. Not sure they have app groups though. You can contribute to them if you don't want to make your own. However, they obviously act like a normal app. Best you can do is pin it to the Launcher for easy access. Or you can contribute to Lomiri and implement it in the App drawer which definitely needs some love There's even a bounty for it so there's money to get

@fair For the Fairphone 5 I've implemented something which should help you, it's available in latest daily channels. The change is here: https://gitlab.com/ubports/porting/reference-device-ports/android11/fairphone-5/fairphone-fp5/-/commit/13884b434abf95f643f41f04c62b22e73be9fe1c What it does is keep the device awake once Waydroid starts. That means it won't opportunistically autosuspend anymore while Waydroid is running.

The instructions you are referring to are aiming to backup all data needed to restore system to previous condition (excluding operating system itself, I believe). It looks like it worked for some people, not for me, though. But it helped me to make backup of all data my own way, including system settings (now my Fairphone even presents itself as "BQ Aquarius 4.5", when connected via BT ). Back to the instruction. system-data and user-data are visible in /data only when your device is booted in recovery mode. When system is booted normally they are accessible via different location. That is: Connect your device to PC Run adb devices (output should list your device as recognized) Run adb reboot recovery Now you should be able to do adb shell and listing of /data should show these folders. At this point your adb pull of both should be fine.

@uri - as far as your problem with video playback goes - this is a known problem solely on the Nexus 5 - one work around is to use the UTMedia app instead of the default Media Player app. https://open-store.io/app/utmedia.nfsprodriver In regards to battery - I don't have direct experience with this - but there are a lot of replacement batteries available for it on the online markets - and instructions on how to change it can be seen here - https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/Nexus+5+Battery+Replacement/26009 Best regards, Steve Berson

@marek_python Hi, there isn't an official or supported way (by UBports) to do it but a third party developed a non-free solution https://f-call-dev.blogspot.com/

@gleblee you need to patch /etc/apparmor.d/sbin.dhclient as described here https://github.com/ubports/ubuntu-touch/issues/781#issuecomment-423732902 to get it going...

Yeah, in the end I had to remove modemmanager and just try plugging it in a couple of times. (sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't apparently) Also the tablet didn't boot when the flashing was finished. I had to boot it manually.

Hi @lipkowski-be, Dan Chapman (the maintainer of Dekko) is unavailable due to health issues... ;-( therefor any contribution to Dekko goes here https://gitlab.com/dekkan for now (since we can't merge them to master as long as Dan isn't around). Issues are still tracked in the original repo already posted by @advocatux: https://gitlab.com/dekkoproject/dekko/issues. Also the webpage has gone down recently unfortunately... not sure if we will resurrect it, however we will continue to work on Dekko but progress will be much slower as long as Dan is unavailable. Up next: Dekko using qtwebengine to render mails instead of oxide - stay tuned.

Hi i have found a workaround that works only for .htaccess Protected pages. Use simply a Favorit in the Format: http://username:password@website.de/url/ the Problem is you can see the credentials in the description of your fav.
