    @projectmoon The main problem that currently prevents using Wayland for electron apps, is that the On-Screen-Keyboard cannot work with GTK+Wayland+Mir1.x . By the way the Merezhyvo Browser ( popriatary app ! ) is an electron app using Wayland, but it has found it's way around this problem by coding it's own OSK inside the app itself, which is not really a way I want to go. (Especially for Signal because I want to modify the code only as strictly necessary, and also because for Signal there are other problems when it comes to using it in Wayland mode with Mir1.x). Anyway I've already tried it (see in the Signal UT topic), and reallu the best is to wait for Mir2.x, I hope it won't be in too long.

    @ubuntoutou No, unconfined apps can read/write to most any location where the user has filesystem level permissions. However, such apps require manual review, and this is not an appropriate way to implement what you are trying to solve. It would also be an incredible annoyance for yourself, if you wanted to try to rebuild every app you install to be unconfined, every time they get updated.

    That certainly sounds exactly like my issue, but I don't know what you mean tagged. Is that a google thing or a UT thing? I did notice that when I logged into my google account that all my contacts are duplicated, so the sync is working. I haven't merged them because I suspect my contacts will disappear off my phone if I do that. BTW, I've been using UT for a week now and I think I'll keep it for a while. I have some issues but no show stoppers.

    I have installed an old version of Firefox (the newest one does not run) and found that it has the same problems with the GeoGebra web application. So I couldn't find a way to run GeoGebra.

    I'm pleased to report that this issue was resolved by replacing my youtube app with the one by Alan Pope. Youtube now runs sweetly on my tablet.

    I found the answer to my own question. There is a light on the bottom of N5 that keeps flashing, and the envelope icon on top becomes green.

    Tonight, I discovered that the problem with my tablet with ebay was because for some reason it was displaying the mobile site. Previously the M10 had always displayed the classic site which worked fine on the tablet. So I looked for a way to switch it back. I found that if I scrolled right to the bottom of the mobile site page, there was tiny clickable classic site emblem. Clicking that control immediately switched the display back to classic mode and everything worked smoothly without any insecure connection messages. In any case, on the tablet, classic mode is superior as more information is displayed. I hope this information will be helpful for other M10 tablet users.

Maybe wget just renamed the downloaded file as index.html? Thanks to @Ingo's knowledge, this is partly true! wget will ignore the response headers, because this is an experimental feature at that time. Therefore wget uses a standard name for the downloaded file, and this one will be a classic index.html. @dobey said in How to download and install Apps from OpenStore via CLI?: The --allow-untrusted is required, because by simply downloading a click directly, you are missing the additional metadata, and are not verifying that what was downloaded, is trusted. Okay, thanks a lot! So the final (working) command should be: wget https://open-store.io/api/v3/apps/dekko2.dekkan/download/xenial/ -O /home/phablet/Downloads/dekko2.dekkan_armhf.click Afterwards: pkcon install-local --allow-untrusted /home/phablet/Downloads/*.click
