@CatWithUT Thank you for your work it seems very interesting to me! Just a quick question: do you think it would be feasible to create a .click package and have it in the Openstore? In a similar fashion that uWolf and uFirefox does? Can we avoid libertine containers? Do you think upcoming Mir2.0 will change anything in this regard as it supports Wayland? Do you use Mobian build scripts for ARM, for signal-desktop? https://github.com/0mniteck/Signal-Desktop-Mobian/releases And also note: if we can get an initial version to build and make an UT package I'm willing to work on making patches to make the interface responsive as I have done with whatsapp web. I think this is the easy part. But we should first make a set of scripts to build automatically a binary, and then a click package that can run on UT.

I agree that one sound would be better than lots of beeps. The whole idea is to notify the user of new mails, not to annoy them with lots of beeping if they have a few new emails. With the notifications I mentioned, it is the bubble notifications that go down the side of the screen not the notification bar at the top.

@lakotaubp Yes, Google allows me, and sends me an email to say my account is connected with a Linux Device. But I'm not connected, cause "System settings" remains spinning around and around and around the last step.

@llamasjm have you deleted this file and rebooted this clears out the old info if you went from 15.04 to 16.04 without wipe /opt/click.ubuntu.com/libertine-scope.ubuntu/current Then re create the container and install using the libertine settings in system settings.

@llamasjm 'home' is /home/phablet. You can reach the contents of "/" with the File Manager, opening the menu with the left-upper button, and then using your password to unlock. But you should better use the 'Terminal', so you can use the sudo command to make changes as to delete directories or files. Open Terminal from the Apps scope. Then do cd /, then ls. To change to directory dir use cd dir. To remove a file filename use sudo rm filename and enter your password. To remove a directory and its contents use sudo rm -r dir.

Ah, I don't think adb backup works with UT, because it's not an Android ROM, and that feature only works with Android. You need to adb pull /data/*-data or something like that. I forget the exact command.

@eduru hi, I don't know anyone playing with USSD in this community but you could be the first, and then report back so we all can learn about it Perhaps this https://hackernoon.com/creating-ussd-applications-69e7d6911158 can give you some ideas. Good luck!

@juangrodeja said in 16.4 OTA 4 Browser don't always download files & Dekko2 don't send mail.: @juangrodeja said in 16.4 OTA 4 Browser don't always download files & Dekko2 don't send mail.: Wasn't 16.4 an stable version of the OS? In addition, browser closes Geogebra tabs for some unknown reason. The issue with downloading files is that they stay at the "0%" stage undefinitely in the downloads window. I have installed the stable version of 16.4 OTA-4. The browser is the one it comes by default, cannot find its name.

@axenias Flohack's method is easier, you don't need to play with twrp. If you want to install Android, there's no problem, it would be a normal installation. See https://developers.google.com/android/images

@hummlbach Thanks for your reply. Yes, that is where I found them in the backup and that folder was empty on my phone after the update to rc v13... Another interesting thing was that restoring that folder did not make my notes appear. I had to use a computer and create manually all the notes on evernote.com and then sync my phone with evernote.
