    @arubislander For sure! There is no foolproof solution when running applications that are sensitive to device security outside of their intended environment, especially not in an emulated environment! (Having alternative operating systems and/or backup phones ready to go is always a plus)

    @gte1070 Nexus 7 2012, Ubuntu Touch 13.x and 14.04 images? I am afraid you are running ancient Canonical images on a no longer supported device. I have one looking at me too. But I doubt Ubuntu Touch is the way to go on it any more.

    @Keneda It is my understanding that the OPO is more unpredictable than most other phones. Many people complain about problems and it always seem to be really random and unidentified. While with other devices it's more frequently a step missed or hardware issue. OPO is well supported but I sense that installation will always be a pain with this device.

Though, with other things missing on Ubuntu it may not get you very far.

On first run, be sure to change the Pasetbin user in the settings to something other than the default. This will enable you to post the content of log files to Pastbin.     Not yet, but you can install Ubuntu with unity 7, or just try Ubuntu unity remix (Umix) for the easy pre-packaged solution

    Yes, installing a new version from the PPA doesn't replace the default python3. You need to use python3.6 directly to use that version.

    Even if currently there are a lot of things, even 'basic' things for a user (as for example copy/paste between two apps or take a screenshot...) that don't work on PinePhone, i had the good surprise to see that Protonvpn worked at the first attempt ! But we must be aware that basic things for a user are often very difficult things for a developer !
