@bearbobs sorry for the late reply its been busy with work...did you have to host the emulationstation?....because not sure how to host from within a clickable.....Iv seen the project before but have not really done anything with it....if it runs totally client side its do able....but if it needs hosting I don't think it can be done....the nes I'm working on is a heavily modded JavaScript emulator runs totally client side i added touch support fixed up the audio and added a lot of mapper support.....one big issue is the webview out of the box is....well lacking...if you load mario you will see black squares around the clouds and other sprites...not the emulator but the webview....

@Vistaus I never saw an option allowing it. Maybe someone with deeper knowledge can answer this, but I doubt many people thought about it.

It's definitely not necessary to root the FP2 before flashing UT. And the bootloader of the FP2 is unlocked by default, so no need to unlock it. What's definitely needed is to enable USB debugging.

@UdenGoogle I can confirm on my test build zoom, flash and autofocus are working very well. However, it has other instabilities like wonky WiFi, its definitely not ready to be deployed.

Sorry for my delay comming back. I have ordered a anotger slimport now will try and see how it goes. Regarding the location. When toggled OFF from notification center. Can't toggle back ON. The animation toggles green but when switching screens it remains OFF greyed. I check on settings and is toggled OFF, greyed. I toggle ON greenfrom the settings menu and change screens and it sets itself OFF greyed again. The only way to get it stay toggle ON and actually working isto, toggle ON under settings and from the same screen to press the power button to turn off the device and then turn it back on and voila location works again. Ill make a video and upload it to explain better.

UT does not yet have any NFC support. Also, I'm not sure if the BQ E4.5 has any NFC hardware.

As of today, I discovered a variant of this bug: the simcard asks for my pin number to connect to the network - it's slightly less annoying since I don't have to reboot. Are there any logs I should check ?

Makes sense, thank you. I think it would make sense as an option in the language dialog, but it might come across as a bit too hacky - especially as people might want to keep their alternative layouts. Might make more sense to just wait for the underlying problems to be worked out. Guess I'll just leave it disabled for now.

@3T_Ed I'm glad all that was needed was some clarification. Yes I guess removing the plugins is not preferable ; a hack is possible but you would have to apply it again after each update.

@AppLee this your message has to be somwhere on first landing pages. This is not quite good for marketing part of the project, but informative and fair enough for new users.

@stanwood Thanks, though I dont expect much here... Providers are not implementing stuff in software. They are just buying equipment, and configure it. Most of the magic happens in the vendor parts of the base station and the mobile device. So probably you would have to talk to Qualcomm
