@wgarcia Hi ! Sorry, I'm not sure to understand what you mean. This aGPS function (Xtra download) only download ephemeral, like tell Vlad. So it is a pure GPS function and it don't use WiFi or Bluetooth or scanning near cell tower. For the test please disable all GPS improvement system : So in Android settings : Improve Location Accuracy = off and Wi-Fi scanning and Bluetooth scanning = off and not in High Accuracy mode. So you need to put you Android in Device only GPS to be sure to disable all other functions. It just download a satellite map at this moment. And we just need Internet data (mobile data or Wi-Fi) just one time a day. You can download the data in your home and use GPS after. We use SatStat to download aGPS (the first option in the menu). So you can do the experiment as you share at the top of the topic, or like this : I prefer this way, because we are sure that it don't use other function that ask an external server to give the location. Open Waydroid Disable GPS in Waydroid Start SatStat Download aGPS in SatStat (the first item (Recharger les données AGPS in French) like in the Vlad picture) Wait 30 seconds and after Turn off Wi-Fi and Mobile data Close SatStat Go outside Enable GPS in Android Start SatStat and look, verify that it found GPS (at the bottom) and look at the TTFF : Time To First Fix. It should be quicker than 1 minute. Is it possible for you to test it ? Thanks a lot

@wgarcia I have found both these devices pretty straightforward to downgrade/upgrade (hey but that is me :beaming_face_with_smiling_eyes: ). Pixel3a if you get stuck on the Google logo.... I will write something up when I get a chance. I do have a Windows machine and Linux machine, find windows is "easier" with some devices.

@wgarcia There's a beta build of the tweak tool in Gitlab. If you can't find that, install the xenial version. App management still works there.

I was finally able to change the APN in the settings. It seems that it has to be tried more than once until it sticks. Otherwise the double SIM works well (I tried with two SIM that I didn't need to fiddle with the APN settings) under OTA-17. I didn't try MMS though, I've never sent or received a MMS in 20+ years of using cell phones.

It would be good to get as many of the apps from the store over as possible. However, there were lots of web apps and not many native apps. This is a shame as we should babe more of the latter than the former.

This means I can't move around the house without getting disconnected all the time (30+ times/day). The BQ would just seamlessly switch over. I see you even have issues without extender. After disconenction it should just autoconnect without requiring a password again (it is saved already!).
