Hello, I found out why it was not displaying the version to be installed. You have to click on "install" in order to see the version getting installed, then you select that and click "OK" to start the installation. But as a cautious person, not willing to de facto factory reset the device, I hesitated. Nowhere was it mentioned that there would be another page, where further settings could be made. I feel kind of silly for this, but at the same time it seems like an oversight in the Installer, that you cannot see how many option pages there will be before you actually commit on installing anything.

I deleted it after reading that Libertine is on its way out & Snap now supported, so I installed the snap version & it works OK- wireless external display - 4K TV. Also connected $10 (USD-Amazon) Acasis USB-C port expander to charge and plug in USB Keyboard & USB stick (with *.ods test file).

So noone who owns this device can provide any feedback on media playback? I'm planning to reinstall UT anyway, but would rather avoid running into this issue.

@oldbutndy i actually know the partitions youre looking for because I had to recover IEMI (a whole other can of potentially ilegal worms) you want to mess around in nvdata/cfg/ram i doubt it but you can check protect1/2 (sometimea called R/L) most likely its in some sort of *loader.bin i tell you the bootloader configs usually sit in some preloader so check for that.

@newguy said in Upgrading Pinephone from 20.04 to 24.04: I'm looking for a way to upgrade my PinePhone to version 24.04. There is no such way yet. At least not unless you are prepared to dive in and fix the issues that will surely cause the OS to malfunction after the upgrade.

Hi, I am using Ubuntu Touch on Shift6mq. I like to swap between Wifi Data and Mobile Data. The Wifi Data usually gives me a list of Networks and which one is connected. However, turning off Wifi Data, then turning on Mobile Data; then access internet, then turn off Mobile Data; then Power off and Power back on: The Wifi Data is set on, but there is no list of Networks. Access to previously accessed Networks does not work. I have not found a way to reactivate the Wifi Network from this condition. Can anybody help? cheers, Steve D

@DJac I don't know what you ordered and what you received so I can't have any opinion on that. Well, I'll post again the possibilities I see: 1) the hardware you got is defective 2) the hardware you got is functional, but there may be several submodels of the phone and the new camera is not 100% compatible with the previous one. 3) something else was damaged when the phone did fall. 4) there are problems with the repair. Whatever the reason, if you asked for the exact same model that was included in your hardware and you got another variant, the vendor has made a mistake and you can ask for a return.

@pparent Good for you. I have tested more heavily this solution and it's promising, but I suspect that there are still a bug or two in systemd itself and I need to clear the air about it before suggesting it in a QA.

@kyrylo welcome, however I would not advise getting a galaxy note 4 as my port is very incomplete, its missing call audio and has a few other issues I need to address, but I lack the time to do so

@darkcoder221 No, sorry. The port is currently in need of some work as the last bootable image failed to wake for phone calls. I am currently unable to put any time into fixing this.
