@JPC So, I could solve my latest connection issues by doing a waydroid init -f.

@stanwood I also live in Switzerland I've got Fairphone 4 running 24.04-1.0 Beta 2 and my carrier is Yallo. 4G VoLTE is turned on but is unfortunately not working. In the Ubuntu Touch Docs ( https://docs.ubports.com/en/latest/userguide/dailyuse/volte.html) one of the requrements is „Ubuntu Touch contains a VoLTE configuration for your carrier.„ Does anybody know how to create such a configuration?

Hi Tim, How much experience do you have? If this is your first time porting to a device, then I would suggest to begin using halium-13 first. I work on my first port (another Lenovo tablet), too, and it took me a long time to just get the kernel booting. The Andorid version begins to matter when the device boots so far that you can ssh into it. At that point you can worry about integrating halium 14. On the other hand, if you are experienced with porting then follow the advice to ask on the telegram channel how to base your port on halium 14 from the beginning. Kai

@ubuntoutou Check here on this thread. Check this out on TWRP. You can use TWRP to access partitions. This can be helpful in data recovery or making a backup. I do fear that you have lost all due to using the installer.

@vverve Merci! I appreciate the report. It still leaves me uncertain about what this means. When I have a call going on, the status bar always changes to 3G. Are you sure this doesn't happen? I thought I'd seen a separate icon in a screenshot on the forum that said VoLTE on the top status bar, but maybe that changed. It would be a big deal if VoLTE was working on Oneplus Nord N10!

Hi, I am using Ubuntu Touch on Shift6mq. I like to swap between Wifi Data and Mobile Data. The Wifi Data usually gives me a list of Networks and which one is connected. However, turning off Wifi Data, then turning on Mobile Data; then access internet, then turn off Mobile Data; then Power off and Power back on: The Wifi Data is set on, but there is no list of Networks. Access to previously accessed Networks does not work. I have not found a way to reactivate the Wifi Network from this condition. Can anybody help? cheers, Steve D

@Simmonz I have moved your topic so that it is more clear to everyone what device you have. That was relevant for your question, but you did not specify it at the start.

POCO X3 NFC running 20.04 Hi, Just moved from EE (UK) to Lebara UK (piggy backs on vodaphone) and I have an issue with sending SMS. Previously on the EE network sending SMS was fine. Now I have to switch off Volte (4g) manually in order to send SMS. If I don't it waits for 30 seconds or so and then indicates that the send operation failed. I have tried the new sim in an iphone6 and it worked sending SMS with 4G enabled. I obviously cannot get any sense out of Lebara as when I mention using UT they think I'm a Martian. Just to reiterate, everything works except sending SMS. It doesn't matter whether wifi or cellular data are switched on or not; Volte has to be off in order to send SMS; receiving is no problem. Any suggestions are welcome. Thank you
