Hi, does anyone who still happen to own a Pro 5 that came pre-installed with ubuntu touch? I would like to compare the md5 of the /dev/sdb (bootloader partition).
As we all know, there is this "magical" bootloader that when flashed, allow Flyme Pro 5s to be unlock, I'm just wondering if this "magical" bootloader is the same as that of the Meizu Pro 5 Ubuntu edition.
Also, are there releases for turbo that include the bootloader in the installation files?
BTW I have something to report with the installer. After starting the installation with the phone in recovery, the phone rebooted to recovery again while the installer was downloading Ubuntu. After this, the installer got stuck on the "Preparing system image" screen. As I noticed that my machine didn't recognize any new device connected, I unplugged and replugged the phone (this time my machine recognized the device connected) and the installer immediatly started sending the image and correctly completing the installation.
So, for some reason I can't seem to get into fastboot. I previously had Sailfish X installed on this (came that way from the ebay seller and was the reason I bought it initially), so I'm not sure if that's partly why, but if I hold volume up and put in the usb cable, it just starts with a red led, then goes to charging. If I do a hard reboot (hold volume up and power past three vibrations) sometimes I can get it to go into what looks like fastboot (blue led), but the one time I got it to work the ubports installer still wouldn't recognize it.
Any leads as to how I could fix this? I'm pretty new to the android modding scene, and it was absolute hell just getting stock android back onto my other Xperia, the XA2 haha. The X is a much more solid device imo though, and I'd love to get it up and running again.
@kugiigi Yeah, the dock works on Manjaro phosh for both usb mouse/keyboard and external display, so I know it's not the dock.
I messed around with mounting the root filesystem as writable for a bit and apt installing a few things, as initially I was not able to get libertine to work, so I'm going to try flashing a fresh dev image and see if that helps at all.
