I've been having some issues using Libertine running apps and searched the forum. It seems some others are also having issues setting up a proper Libertine container on the Google Pixel 3a. I'm placing a link to here. https://forums.ubports.com/topic/11232/unable-to-create-libertine-container

@itsjusthim Thanks for trying. The kernel misses the telephony support, which causes the imei not showing up. I only own the F model, so I cannot help with this. (n case you would like to try yourself, replace akita_row_wifi with akita_row_call in the deviceinfo file, and in all overlay files, and build the all img files. This will enable the missing kernel support, but more might be missing.) I am still working on the grahics issues.

@ubuntoutou Check here on this thread. Check this out on TWRP. You can use TWRP to access partitions. This can be helpful in data recovery or making a backup. I do fear that you have lost all due to using the installer.

@mafman97 You can install Windows to a USB thumb drive and run MSMtool from that There is also a linux method somewhere in the OP 5 or 6 forums, but results are variable.

Hi, I am using Ubuntu Touch on Shift6mq. I like to swap between Wifi Data and Mobile Data. The Wifi Data usually gives me a list of Networks and which one is connected. However, turning off Wifi Data, then turning on Mobile Data; then access internet, then turn off Mobile Data; then Power off and Power back on: The Wifi Data is set on, but there is no list of Networks. Access to previously accessed Networks does not work. I have not found a way to reactivate the Wifi Network from this condition. Can anybody help? cheers, Steve D

Probably there are other users with the same problem. The attempt to install 24.01 via the installer lead to a blocked device. It was possible to return to the former release 20.04/rc by using the installer. From there you can try to update again to 24.01 - unfortunately with the earlier result: the device boots and stucks displaying the white "Sony"-screen. So I installed the 20.04-release again.

Hello forum, So I have the impression that volte cannot yet be used reliably on my phone. I have therefore disabled it and am waiting for further progress. What is still unclear to me is what the situation is with VoWLAN or VoWIFI? Many greetings Charly

I can't edit my first post, so this is the UP TO DATE TUTORIAL : How to install UB T - Ubuntu Touch - UBPorts on a Poco X3 Pro - Vayu Unlock bootloader Install TWRP or OrangeFox Install a global MIUI 12.5.9 with Android 11 (to be sure all is ok) http://xmfirmwareupdater.com/miui/vayu/stable/V12.5.9.0.RJUMIXM/ Download Artefact on github : devel-flasable-focal (to see the last version is here Extract the zip Download the vendor from Droidian vayu 100 or take the last one here : Droidian git (it is the Sailfish one, and I don't find it on UBT) It is the MIUI with some fix for Linux on phone. You could try just the adaptation images, but not tested : Adaptation for Poco X3 Pro codename Vayu Extract the zip Reboot your phone in recovery Reboot in fastboot from recovery so it is fastbootd (Android fastboot, don't works) From the Ubuntu zip : Upload with fastbootd on phone boot.img as boot- From the Droidian zip : Upload with fastbootd on phone vendor.img as vendor, dtbo.img as dtbo, vbmeta.img as vbmeta on TWRP format data to remove encryption, and put ubuntu.img in data folder (/data). With MTP on TWRP for example (you copy it from you computer and you could find in /data/media. (It could need a reboot to recovery, after a format to see the media folder) Or with ADB : adb push ubuntu.img /data/ Reboot phone Enjoy ! The mic sound seem to be lower than Droidian, so a fix could be taken on Droidian. EDIT : Sorry, we don't have to flash system partition, UBT use the ubuntu.img in /data.

@Lakotaubp I got a Pro¹-X yesterday and can report that installing UT using the UBports installer went very well, very smoothly. The build seems excellent, better than on the OnePlus 6T, which has a few glitches. Only glitch I've discovered so far is that flashlight doesn't turn on from the Battery icon switch. A sub-forum for this device would be helpful. Shipping was delayed for a long time but the company has a push to fulfil orders lately.

@Moem yes, I did. But the very first question I cannot answer is: should I use the full system image or halium-boot method or the stand-alone kernel method. I don't understand the differences. As I mentioned: I'm not very familiar with mobiles.

@rugby There is a huge lack at this level and yet a real demand. Nothing new on the program. There is only the Sony Xperia X indeed, although not very recent. As a user, this mid-range smartphone https://m.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_xcover_5-10718.php seemed like a candidate for its price, size and performances, although I don't know anything about the feasibility of a focal port by a developer.

Hi @AppLee, with UT works: -Sim card with Data -WLan (not so strong then my other devices) -Foto -Loudspeakers Video (Browser) No Function: -GPS @kugiigi thanks but I am not on telegram. I searched for a good UT Guides, Firewall, VPN, Apps and etc. Any hints from the community which longer have their Hand on UT? Edit because of GPS!!!: be aware everyone of the following issue: Yesterday I tried to check the GPS functionality with this: https://docs.ubports.com/de/latest/userguide/dailyuse/location.html I turned on WLAN, insert a SIM Card and connect the charging cable. 15 min the device was very hot and shut down. I had recognize it to late because I only looked the display. After that I let the device cool down and booted up again. Greetings

@moem said in The device page requires community help: And so she types 'onep' or 'xper' or another suitable combination of letters... and the right options pop up (or there is a notice that this phone is not yet supported). It can't get quicker than that. The visibility of that option is very poor in either Dark Mode Firefox of Day Mode Pale Moon Also sometimes Search functions don't find what I am looking for while the thing I am looking for is actually there so I have stopped trusting them a very long time ago! I would not want to scroll down to Oneplus or Sony... Another option : https://wiki.merproject.org/wiki/Adaptations/libhybris Easy to go through. Very specific overview of the stuff that works and doesn't Anyway, new options are coming, and you may even like them. Can't wait!

We appear to have two thrads going on about the same device and issue https://forums.ubports.com/topic/6913/sound-volume-is-very-low-how-can-i-boost-it can I suggest that @anonymoustly picks the one most relevant and we shut the other one. Just let us know and we can lock one. That will stop answers getting lost or duplicated.

@kyrylo welcome, however I would not advise getting a galaxy note 4 as my port is very incomplete, its missing call audio and has a few other issues I need to address, but I lack the time to do so
