PLEASE SAVE THOSE LINE IN A TEXT FILE AND CHANGE THE EXTENSION TO .bat AND THEN RUN IT AS ADMINISTRATION. then i could run the unlock.cmd file and it ran flowlessly. thank you for your help.

@MrT10001 Oh, looking at that chart... It has the Android edition top part, but doesnt have the buttons, still worked on android somehow... May have been a scrapped newspaper or developer version that went into the hands of someone? This was a kid's main phone before i got it. It was in the Mediamarkt electronics bin in Terrassa Parc Vallés of all places, the bin was full, with that phone on top. Im a bit ashamed of grabbing a phone off a bin, but that gives some backstory.

@myeager67 Problem here is not the edl cable, it's the files needed for flashing in edl mode, that Qualcomm, if I understood correctly, don't want Fairphone to give to end users. Also, not answering to you here, Fairphone no longer provides motherboard as part end user can purchase like they did for some previous Fairphones, because it is no longer allowed by law in UE as it is tied to IMEI (I red that somewhere on Fairphone forum), only repair service can.

Hello, I write this to encourage someone who has one of these most excellent little tablets, not to give up on it. After LineageOS, after Factory Android, after UBPorts Installer errors (in Linux and MacOS versions) leaving me only Fastboot and Ubuntu Recovery to look at, after mystifying myself over re-partitioning fixes… and putting my best-ever ‘device’ in a drawer... Today I simply ran UBPorts Installer again - (MacOS 0.11.2) - and even though errors appeared as the process started (leftovers on the recovery screen?) Nexy has finally booted into Ubuntu Touch - (16.04 (OTA-25)) - and all appears quite well. I’ll let you know here if serious problems show up.

@fischer.poco said: @turtle_racer Thanks for the help and comment. Now, if I understand correctly, I should reinstall OS Oxygene... and then reinstall the entire UT? You're welcome @fischer.poco ! No worries man. We all had to learn this initially (myself included), so you are doing great. You are past the hardest part in my opinion which is having a phone with unlocked bootloader! So, congrats on that! OnePlus has really clamped down and seems to not give out unlock tokens. Yes, you are understanding correctly. Re-install correct OxygenOS version and reinstall entire Ubuntu Touch. I think you should be good from there, but if not, just post in the forum and there are many kind people here to try to help out, such as @rocket2nfinity and @rondarius and others. Good luck!

@newguy said in Upgrading Pinephone from 20.04 to 24.04: I'm looking for a way to upgrade my PinePhone to version 24.04. There is no such way yet. At least not unless you are prepared to dive in and fix the issues that will surely cause the OS to malfunction after the upgrade.

@nbdynl said: @trunghieu1710, out of curiousity, why would you want to have any os installed without a functioning screen? Where I live, they use a number of Samsung devices, including the Samsung S7. They use them in large quantities, around several hundred thousand, to run fake advertisements and obtain promotional codes. These phones have been modified to receive power directly and remove the screen, controlling everything entirely via ADB. I can buy them very cheaply and I want to take advantage of that.

@los-tioz camera works fine on the latest RC. There's clock workaround: open Settings, then click on "Time & Date". "Set time and date" should be set to "automatically".

I just went through 'journal' events (phone is now on 24.04-2.0 beta/RC) and found the following errors/warnings related to bluetooth: Jun 23 23:29:47 ubuntu-phablet bluebinder_post.sh[2815]: Failed to get bluetooth address! Jun 23 23:29:47 ubuntu-phablet bluetoothd[2861]: src/adapter.c:reset_adv_monitors_complete() Failed to reset Adv Monitors: Unknown Command (0x01) [...] Jun 23 23:29:50 ubuntu-phablet systemd[2767]: bluez-mpris-proxy.service - BlueZ MPRIS proxy was skipped because of an unmet condition check (ConditionPathExists=!/usr/lib/systemd/user/mpris-proxy.service). It's unclear to me whether any of those can explain the BT connection issue with the laptop, but here they are.

@qnx_guy I have no specific experience with the F(x)etc, but I've had a surprisingly good experience with the Microsoft Miracast V2. It seems to only be available used though, and is expensive. Mine has latency that seems to be less than 0.5s, which I find quite useable. And yes, the device becomes a touch pad mouse when connected, though you can also connect a BT keyboard and mouse. But it does seem like most people have a less successful experience than me.

@ancientsounds said in UT on F(x)tec Pro1-X: I haven't tried casting to an external monitor. From I was told, the change in hardware impacted this feature. So no display port over USB type C... Also, what I know is that it doesn't work.

@wally I bought an MS Wireless Adapter V2 a few days ago. It works (my Pro1-X runs Android 11), but there's some lagging (sometimes it freezes a little bit, as well), and of course it not as stable as a HDMI cable.

@Antares86 What do you mean by latest ? Most recent phone ported or most recent port whatever phone release date ? Anyway take a look here for UT 20.04 devices : https://devices.ubuntu-touch.io/ One of the latest device is Fairphone 4 (Fairphone 5 incoming), ones of the latest ported devices are OnePlus N100/N10 5G.

@stoyanov_vl Reboot the device and leave it alone for about 10 minutes after booting up, the screen may kick in. I have had similar issues on other devices with a screen replacement. Another thing to try, if that fails is to back up data and do a clean install of UT.

@Moem yes, I did. But the very first question I cannot answer is: should I use the full system image or halium-boot method or the stand-alone kernel method. I don't understand the differences. As I mentioned: I'm not very familiar with mobiles.

@rugby There is a huge lack at this level and yet a real demand. Nothing new on the program. There is only the Sony Xperia X indeed, although not very recent. As a user, this mid-range smartphone https://m.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_xcover_5-10718.php seemed like a candidate for its price, size and performances, although I don't know anything about the feasibility of a focal port by a developer.

Hi @AppLee, with UT works: -Sim card with Data -WLan (not so strong then my other devices) -Foto -Loudspeakers Video (Browser) No Function: -GPS @kugiigi thanks but I am not on telegram. I searched for a good UT Guides, Firewall, VPN, Apps and etc. Any hints from the community which longer have their Hand on UT? Edit because of GPS!!!: be aware everyone of the following issue: Yesterday I tried to check the GPS functionality with this: https://docs.ubports.com/de/latest/userguide/dailyuse/location.html I turned on WLAN, insert a SIM Card and connect the charging cable. 15 min the device was very hot and shut down. I had recognize it to late because I only looked the display. After that I let the device cool down and booted up again. Greetings
