@hlbkv gnome software can handle debs and flatpaks (and on Ubuntu also snaps I think). The app itself is a deb, so it is not surprising that it can be installed. The apps that end up being able to be installed with it are probably also debs.

@bamboy360 said in Elevate Push Notifications from WayDroid to UT?: Someone there mentioned using KDEConnect as a workaround. I might look into that next. I suspect this was aimed primarily at desktop Linux, although any mobile Linux where KDE/GConnect shows notifications would work as well. Unfortunately, at the moment UT is not one of those where it would work out of the box. But feel free to experiment, maybe you can make it work.

OK. I'm not sure why a python3 version of pygame isn't available in the Ubuntu repositories, so it looks like you will probably need to build your own version to work with python3, as part of the click packaging. You might want to check out clickable for making it easy to package an app up.

So, after I dug out my old netbook from the dust of my stash shelf, which was already equipped with lubuntu 14.04, I successfully installed ubuntu-device-flash utility via apt package manager, and used the utility to downgrade to 15.04. Wish, this can be this easy on bionic (18.04). I will look into the ubuntu-device-flash utility on ubports github and try to make it work.

@zx81 that issue happens when changing any channel, so just close & open again System Settings when it happens, at least for now

@domubpkm ah, I see what you mean now because I didn't tried that new feature earlier. I've tested it now and I think the issue is that we can't access file:/// for security & privacy reasons, not that Morph can't handle .mht files

I think we have now done this subject more than enough and are now rapidly approaching the going round in circles point. We are well aware of the nexus 5 and its battery issues and I think now all points of view have been put. On a different note please remember to be polite and considerate when conducting discussions on the the forum.

As flo said, we are working on a completly new Telegram app that will support audio and actually is ready to playback audio files. You can get a alpha version of it if it's really urgent but, we think it will be ready end of the year.

Maybe below the head line Install Ubuntu Touch there should be a sub head line Install on Ubuntu Touch devices to separate this better from Install on Android devices Just my 0,02 pesos cubanos (en CUP, not CUC)

@ubuntoutou No, unconfined apps can read/write to most any location where the user has filesystem level permissions. However, such apps require manual review, and this is not an appropriate way to implement what you are trying to solve. It would also be an incredible annoyance for yourself, if you wanted to try to rebuild every app you install to be unconfined, every time they get updated.

That certainly sounds exactly like my issue, but I don't know what you mean tagged. Is that a google thing or a UT thing? I did notice that when I logged into my google account that all my contacts are duplicated, so the sync is working. I haven't merged them because I suspect my contacts will disappear off my phone if I do that. BTW, I've been using UT for a week now and I think I'll keep it for a while. I have some issues but no show stoppers.

I have installed an old version of Firefox (the newest one does not run) and found that it has the same problems with the GeoGebra web application. So I couldn't find a way to run GeoGebra.
