@fredldotme In case anyone still has important videos recorded with Pixel 3A + OTA23 (as I did), kept in case some solution to repair them is found, my script that fixes those videos is here: https://forums.ubports.com/topic/10971/fixing-corrupted-videos-recorded-with-google-pixel-3a-ubports-ota23

Hello all, I have been working on porting UT to a LG V60 ThinQ 5G. I have a few issues to work out still, but the key 2 items that I am currently working on are VoLTE (I got the ims service to start with no errors, but still no VoLTE sadly) and the brightness. I have the brightness sysfs path set in the timelm.yaml file, but the brightness slider currently does not do anything. The flashlight toggle (which is also set in that timelm.yaml file) works as expected. I would appreciate any tips or suggestions for things to check. I am also including the line in the timelm.yaml file. DMESG output: [ 0.776921] 0.776921 02-19 21:25:43.691] [7: swapper/0: 1] [Display][lge-backlight:lge_dsi_panel_parse_blmap:118] use dynamic brightness supported=0 [ 0.776926] 0.776926 02-19 21:25:43.691] [7: swapper/0: 1] [Display][lge-backlight:lge_dsi_panel_parse_blmap_sub:77] lge, blmap blmap_size = 366 [ 0.776930] 0.776930 02-19 21:25:43.691] [7: swapper/0: 1] [Display][lge-backlight:lge_dsi_panel_parse_blmap_sub:89] lge, blmap has been successfully parsed. @ubuntoutou Check here on this thread. Check this out on TWRP. You can use TWRP to access partitions. This can be helpful in data recovery or making a backup. I do fear that you have lost all due to using the installer.

Hi, I am using Ubuntu Touch on Shift6mq. I like to swap between Wifi Data and Mobile Data. The Wifi Data usually gives me a list of Networks and which one is connected. However, turning off Wifi Data, then turning on Mobile Data; then access internet, then turn off Mobile Data; then Power off and Power back on: The Wifi Data is set on, but there is no list of Networks. Access to previously accessed Networks does not work. I have not found a way to reactivate the Wifi Network from this condition. Can anybody help? cheers, Steve D

@MrT10001 @MrT10001 Hello, I found my mistake. To copy files from my Android phone to my PC using ADB, I need to execute the adb pull command directly in my PC's terminal, without accessing the ADB shell on my phone. For example, to copy the Music folder from my phone to the Music folder on my PC, I should use the following command in the terminal with a simple USB connection to the phone: Code adb pull /home/phablet/Music /home/(Your PC)/Music If it can help someone copy hidden system files, it works too.

@rugby There is a huge lack at this level and yet a real demand. Nothing new on the program. There is only the Sony Xperia X indeed, although not very recent. As a user, this mid-range smartphone https://m.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_xcover_5-10718.php seemed like a candidate for its price, size and performances, although I don't know anything about the feasibility of a focal port by a developer.

Hi @AppLee, with UT works: -Sim card with Data -WLan (not so strong then my other devices) -Foto -Loudspeakers Video (Browser) No Function: -GPS @kugiigi thanks but I am not on telegram. I searched for a good UT Guides, Firewall, VPN, Apps and etc. Any hints from the community which longer have their Hand on UT? Edit because of GPS!!!: be aware everyone of the following issue: Yesterday I tried to check the GPS functionality with this: https://docs.ubports.com/de/latest/userguide/dailyuse/location.html I turned on WLAN, insert a SIM Card and connect the charging cable. 15 min the device was very hot and shut down. I had recognize it to late because I only looked the display. After that I let the device cool down and booted up again. Greetings

@moem said in The device page requires community help: And so she types 'onep' or 'xper' or another suitable combination of letters... and the right options pop up (or there is a notice that this phone is not yet supported). It can't get quicker than that. The visibility of that option is very poor in either Dark Mode Firefox of Day Mode Pale Moon Also sometimes Search functions don't find what I am looking for while the thing I am looking for is actually there so I have stopped trusting them a very long time ago! I would not want to scroll down to Oneplus or Sony... Another option : https://wiki.merproject.org/wiki/Adaptations/libhybris Easy to go through. Very specific overview of the stuff that works and doesn't Anyway, new options are coming, and you may even like them. Can't wait!

We appear to have two thrads going on about the same device and issue https://forums.ubports.com/topic/6913/sound-volume-is-very-low-how-can-i-boost-it can I suggest that @anonymoustly picks the one most relevant and we shut the other one. Just let us know and we can lock one. That will stop answers getting lost or duplicated.
